I am so glad that you have decided to join me on my little journey.
I know many write long winded blogs about thier personal lives, and this....is not one of those blogs. This journey will be about following GOD around and gaining direction, and a whole new view on things. I pray that my writtings will help you, the reader, as well; even if it is only in a small measure.
I have been going back and forth about this for a little while now and have decided to act on it, well, more like God kicked me in the pants about it. As I was talking with one of my very best friends in this world about the idea of this blogs. I also told her that when ever I flipped through my Bible during my studies I was felt this unusual draw to read Ezekiel. So, she flipped it open and this was the Scripture that popped out at her: Ezekiel 3:16-19
"At the end of seven days the word of the Lord came to me: "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word that I speak and give them warning for me. When i say to a wicked man, 'You will surely die,' and you do not warn himor speak out to dissuade him from his evil way in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die from his sin; but you will have saved youself."
The basis of this scriture is that if you do not do or speak up to help or prevent someone from something when GOD tells you too, it is on you, they may have stopped had you warned them as you were told. But, if you tell them and they do it anyway, then you are free and clear. This was more for me than you, because God told me to do it, so here I am, obeying my Lord. Hopeing He will speak through me.
Well, that's is the scripture that gave this blog the name 'The Ezekiel Project'.
This blog is me listening to GOD and doing what he has told me to do, hopefully it will touch your life is some way, as I know it will touch mine
